The integration of the system model with the theory of attachment allows us to see the interaction between the child and his family in a circular way, and also those deviations leading to personality disorders. The author summarizes the five strategies of attachment reorganization proposing a matrix of post-traumatic personality and diagnosis of personality which should replace those stigmatizing (borderline and masochism). The research on correlations between personality traits and family history paves the way for parallel individual and family therapies.
