La Green Line Buffer Zone, che divide l’isola di Cipro e la sua capitale Nicosia, rivela la ‘cicatrice’ spaziale del conflitto cipriota. Questo paesaggio lineare è assunto come potenziale infrastruttura ecologica di riconciliazione attraverso la frontiera. Il GreenLineScapes Laboratory esplora nuove strategie di pianificazione ambientale che derivano dalle nuove ecologie di frontiera e dalle attuali relazioni sociali informali e collaborazioni scientifiche tra i due lati dell’isola. Come strumento utile alla progettazione e al rilievo partecipato attraverso la frontiera, il Digital Dynamic Atlas si propone come strumento globale di peace-building ecologico nelle zone di conflitto. Un prototipo sperimentale sul caso di Cipro è in fase di realizzazione e di discussione con attori locali ed esperti internazionali in risoluzione di conflitti, progettazione partecipata, mapping e nuovi media
