During last years, in Northern Italy, a new social phenomenon has been shaping: a long series of strikes and disputes in the logistics sector, mainly played by migrant workers, that is determining a fresh process of political subjectivation. The authors of this article are studying these events trough the participant observation technique, and here they try to discuss them starting from the building up of a theoretical framework, with the attempt to elaborate a multi-level analysis able to grasp this complex situation. The link between logistics and contemporary global economy is the first focus. Secondly they try to go in depth on the specific characters of the territorial context in which the circuit of struggles is based. Then the article focuses on the forms of labor organization from both manager and unions perspective. Finally the authors discuss the subjective motivations that drive the workers through the presentation of some hypothesis elaborated on the field.
