New forms of employment are emerging across the world. Therefore, labour lawyers are requested to discuss how these transformations will affect the future of work. The critical issue to be addressed is whether the labour market will be self-employed and principals dominated, whereas traditional employment will be part of a former labour market, with all the consequences this entails not only on individuals but also on the society as a whole.

Keywords: New forms of employment; Gig-economy; Crowdwork; Crowdworker’s legal status; Labour protection.
