The ‘Programma Innovativo Nazionale per la Qualità dell’Abitare’ (PINQuA) has been conceived as a national policy to support urban regeneration processes driven by local governments. The Program promotes area-based interventions, lead with an integrated approach, in the Italian trajectory of ‘programmi complessi’. This research proposes to construct, by mapping participation and funding distribution, a national geography of the PINQuA to reveal territorial gaps pattern related to the first phase of the programme.

Keywords: urban regeneration; territorial gaps; integrated approach
