Il Disturbo da Deficit di Attenzione e/o Iperattività (ADHD) è caratterizzato da sintomi quali disattenzione, disorganizzazione e/o iperattività-impulsività che influenzano il funzionamento personale, lavorativo e sociale. Gli studi presenti in letteratura si concentrano principalmente sullo sviluppo di bambini e adolescenti ADHD, valutando le difficoltà nel percorso scolastico, la presenza di comorbidità psichiatriche e l’utilità di vari interventi farmacologici, psicologici ed educativi; mentre, rispetto all’età adulta, la letteratura si focalizza prevalentemente sulle difficoltà che l’ADHD può comportare sul lavoro, senza individuare interventi utili a farvi fronte. È stata condotta una scoping review per individuare gli studi più recenti relativi alle strategie e agli interventi per agevolare le persone ADHD nel contesto lavorativo, identificando quelli più efficaci. La ricerca ha identificato 62 articoli pertinenti, di cui 12 ritenuti validi per la revisione che hanno permesso di indentificare tre tipologie di interventi: sulla persona, sull’ambiente o su entrambi. I limiti della ricerca riguardano la quantità degli articoli e l’ampiezza ridotta, l’eterogeneità e la generalizzabilità del campione, per questo motivo le ricerche future dovrebbero utilizzare metodologie etnografiche e coinvolgere maggiormente i manager delle organizzazioni e i lavoratori stessi per sviluppare interventi basati sulle loro necessità. In conclusione, la scoping review ha identificato interventi efficaci per migliorare le condizioni dei lavoratori ADHD e aumentare il loro benessere psicosociale.
