Il saggio restituisce alcuni esiti della ricerca BACK IN TOWN – ‘The role of industrial relations and social dialogue in supporting young people’s employment and social inclusion at an urban level’, co-?nanziata dalla Commissione Europea nell’ambito della call ‘Improving expertise in the ?eld of industrial relations’. Nel contributo viene presentato il framework concettuale utilizzato per analizzare le urban youth policies nel contesto europeo e nazionale. Sono inoltre sintetizzate la metodologia e le attività di indagine svolte nel contesto italiano, con un approfondimento dedicato all’indagine empirica sui policy network e sui modelli di governance delle politiche giovanili nelle città di Verona e di Lecce.
