Over time, the seminars on INVALSI data have increasingly highlighted the importance of using the data published by the Institute, also in combination with data from other bodies and institutions, which in various ways provide important elements to shed light on the Italian school system. Evidence of this can be found in the contributions collected in this volume.

This book collects some paper submitted during the V edition of the Seminar “INVALSI data: a tool for teaching and scientific research” and talks about the training of teachers. Papers collected in this book are a limited and non-exhaustive example of the utility of INVALSI data.

Questo volume raccoglie alcuni studi presentati in occasione della quarta edizione del Seminario “I dati INVALSI: uno strumento per la ricerca e la didattica” (Roma, novembre 2019), con l’obiettivo di fornire degli strumenti per migliorare la didattica della Matematica nella scuola primaria.

Dopo una sezione introduttiva che tratta le definizioni, le politiche e gli strumenti utilizzati a livello europeo per lo sviluppo e la classificazione di una smart city, il volume presenta un ricco atlante delle smart city, una selezione di esempi di città, europee e asiatiche, che hanno sperimentato tecnologie, azioni e strategie in grado di renderle “intelligenti”.
