sustainability, quality of life at work, action-research - The paper describes an action-research experience on the theme of organizational life sustainability, conducted in an health and social service for old and disabled people. By presenting the research, the article aims at exploring the construct of organizational life sustainability and at describing a process of intervention in a specific organization. Within the chosen organizational context, in effect, the action-research has allowed both to conduct a qualitative exploration on sustainability, and to promote more sustainable life conditions among the organizational actors.
