The dream thoughts and theory of the field - The Author describes the key elements of his clinical model through clinical vignettes and outlines his mental model: "thinking-feeling-dreaming". His ideas about the analytic field as a real emotional meeting place and so a place of psychic transformation, as well as his ideas about the theory of waking dream thoughts are at the centre of his analytic work. The Author believes that the field both receives and generates the protoemotional turbulences that undergo ongoing alphabetization by its alpha functions; the work of the field permits the development of the apparatuses for dreaming, feeling and thinking. In this view, a clinical narration with a high degree of non-saturation is essential to encourage the multiplication of view-points and so the analytic field becomes the matrix of possible stories. Thus the "unthink-able" becomes a shared tale, through a series of emotional steps that end up giving a name to things the patient could not represent before.
