FrancoAngeli is member of Publishers International Linking Association, Inc (PILA), a not-for-profit association which run the CrossRef service enabling links to and from online scholarly content.
The paper discusses the issue of responsibility starting from the question of what are the values most adequate to the public sphere. Some of the candidates to this position are examined and their weaknesses or inadequacy are evaluated. After showing how the biggest threat to politics is not really represented by those who support its disappearance, the paper concludes underlying the current relevancy of an adequate assumption of responsibility as a central value for the public sphere.
L’articolo affronta il tema della responsabilità chiedendosi quali siano i valori più adeguati per la sfera pubblica. Esamina alcuni candidati a questo ruolo, valutandone i difetti o l’inadeguatezza. Infine, dopo aver mostrato come la più grave minaccia per la politica non provenga in realtà dalla posizione di coloro che ne sostengono l’estinzione, l’articolo conclude sottolineando l’importanza attuale di un’adeguata assunzione di responsabilità come valore centrale della sfera pubblica.
