In this paper, home care is considered as a basic requirement to belong to a territory which is important for everybody’s life. The relational side of home care is stressed, with particular attention to its connection with the local welfare planning. In case of people with no self-sufficiency, some reference points are required in order to organize the housing space and deal with mobility needs.
