The aim of this paper is to describe the usefulness of an approach to the obesity, which is able to overcome reductionism and dichotomies that usually characterise the various models dealing with this phenomenon. The systemic approach, which circularly correlates all different components involved in this problem, seems to better meet this need of integration. On the ground of these consideration the integrated intervention is the privileged frame of therapeutic work with obese children and their families.
