The article descrives the importance of having had a paternal and maternal meaningful experience when one becomes a parent. How to address the difficulties fathers experience after the babies birth. May we talk of paternal postnatal depression since it is the new family dynamic that sets off such depression? What is the paternal postnatal care like? We try to answer these questions on the base of discussions with fathers in a small group once they become fathers.
