This comment on the article by Claudio Neri picks up and broadens the latter’s objective in terms of the analyst’s self-disclosure and self-revelation to his/her patients. An in-depth examination is thus begun, as well as reflections on the transparency of the therapist and his/her practices in group psychotherapy, with special attention to the benefit of analysis in co-transference.
