The success of a sulphurous and violent film like "Joker" (USA, 2019) derives from the director’s ability to make the viewer identify with the emotional story of the main character who is negative and tragically confronts himself with the theme of Evil. The Constellation of Death proposed by Sir Arthur H. Williams allows to evaluate the structure, the characteristic elements, the possible evolutions and destinies in people and patients in whom the destrudo prevails over the libido. The Jungian concept of Shadow revisited by Mario Trevi questions us about the sense of limitation, negativity and evil elements that are inevitably present in every human existence.

Keywords: Death constellation; serial killers; shadow.
