The COVID-19 pandemic caused serious consequences for the air transport sector and for European mobility in general. To deal with these consequences, the European Commission has adopted several measures such as those on Public Service Obligation (PSOs) contained in the Commission Comunication of May 13 2020, which also provides guidance on compensation to European airlines.
