The Cognitive Disabilities are present in a significant part of the developmental disabilities. Frequently, the intellectual deficit is associated with the communicative deficit. In recent times, the digital technologies have favored the development of the assistive aids based on Augmentative Alternative Communication Systems. This article presents the main digital communication aids that present opportunities for the development of the communication skills in student with Cognitive Disabilities.
