Starting from a reflection on the concept of victim-criminal, this contribution aims to deepen the relationship between exposure to Intimate Partner Violence and child/adolescent to parent violence. Both forms of violence place the child at the center, who lives in a condition of extreme fragility, also dictated by the inabil-ity to properly manage one’s emotions. Among the possible effects to be included are certainly the learning of dysfunctional relational models and the intergenera-tional transmission of violence, consequences that, in some cases, can turn chil-dren into abusers. It is therefore necessary to assess risk factors early and to identi-fy trajectories aimed at preventing and reducing these phenomena, which seem closely related.
