The Author traces in Jacques, the character born from the “uprising” against the “absurd”, the extraordinary creation in which Camus combines, through a new interpretation of the biography, toute la lumière du monde with la mort pour tous. The posthumous text, which in the author’s intention was meant to be the first “cycle of love”, shows the haven for research that lasted through all his short and intense life. A haven which in this text merges with some fundamental parameters of C. G. Jung’s thought.
