Whilst SME policies seldom consider craftsmanship specifically, those aimed at its conservation and promotion as a set of traditions and/or as cultural heritage often overlook the business dimensions of such enterprises. Keywords: craftsmanship; SMEs; cultural heritage; public policy; cities.
