Within the broader issue of the housing crisis, the article focuses on the autonomy of women escaping domestic violence, identifying access to stable and safe home as a crucial step in their paths to selfdetermination. The issue remains underexplored, despite international literature highlights a strong link between domestic violence and female homelessness. Identifying council housing (erp) as a potential support, the study focuses on regional regulations in this area. The conclusions emphasise both the lack of uniformity in national policies against violence toward women and the lack of necessary data for developing targeted and appropriate responses.
