The increasing involvement of public and private actors in outer space calls for urgent legal reflection on orbital sustainability, international liability, and the regulation of space tourism. In this context, China’s Belt and Road Initiative Space Information Corridor (BRI-SIC) represents an innovative legal platform that could contribute to the development of binding standards for orbital security, debris management, and equitable access to space. This article examines the BRI-SIC’s potential as a model for international governance and assesses its capacity to address the legal challenges posed by space tourism and the Kessler Syndrome
