From the writings of Petrarch and Boccaccio to those of Christine de Pizan, Annius of Viterbo, Ludovico Ariosto, Goethe, and Schiller, her symbolic versatility and enduring relevance have rendered her a pivotal emblem within modern and contemporary narratives, serving as a lens through which the persistent dynamics of social and cultural transformation may be interpreted.
