Since 2009, have been introduced into our law a series of new social protection, defined exceptional social safety nets, which were accompanied by programs of active policy aimed at the renovation and / or re-training of its beneficiaries. The paper presents an evaluation analysis of these programs in the Province of Vercelli. The results, which show low performance in terms of employment opportunities, presented in this article represent perhaps one of the few analyzes on the employment outcomes of these measures and provide early and interesting point of view on the subject.
