The increase in divorce brought to the attention of the refuse, apparently unmotivated, of a child to a parent. The present study examined, through an archive research, psicological and legal paths of a sample of divorced families treated from local social services, in which a child unreasonably refuses a parent. The sample consists of 106 dossiers of families followed in the identified social services. A specific coding system was used for data analysis. The main results indicate that interventions have often failed because non-specific, overlapping and primarily oriented to the evaluation. It is necessary to plan specialized interventions, coordinated with the judicial process.
