Contrary to what happened in the past, dreams are no longer con-sidered as mere texts to be deciphered: now they are seen as a means to come into contact with the most authentic aspects of a patient’s emotional life. Some non-verbal aspects of a psychotherapeutic ses-sion are put in relation with the ability to dream and cocreate mean-ings that can be verbalized.
