This paper was written based on the “National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) Guideline on Treatment and Management of Psychosis and Schizophrenia in Adults” (2014 edition, updated until 2020 in the online format), of which it represents a faithful summary of the parts dedicated to the role of psychotherapy in the treatment of psychosis and schizophrenia, with particular reference to cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy.
