The author  describes  an  Anselm Kiefer‘s installation entitled  I sette palazzi celesti, exposed in  Milano Hangar Bicocca from  2002 until 2024. Who enters in  this  large exibition hall sees total darkness, but gradually the eyes get used to seeing   seven big towers. They represent seven degrees  ascending towards the soul’s knowledge, according to the kabbalistic inspiration that the artist follows.  The optical effect is determined by using cement and lead, which  gradually show dimensions, colors and lights. The message is to meet the  Light within the Shadow.      Also in analitical work you must be very intentional about discovering the hidden beauty in the dark part of the patient’s mind. In support of this thesis the author describes two examples: a child and an adult, both with cognitive giftedness, who have achieved important results in their relationship with themselves and with the external environment – always respecting the necessary graduality and limits.
