The relationship between Internet use and the performance of developmental tasks in adolescence is a central area of current research in psychology. In the scientific debate, various theoretical-explanatory approaches are compared which raise interesting questions and perspectives. The present research aimed to delve deeper into this topic through the use of two tests that investigate the construct of Internet addiction (UADI-2) and developmental tasks in adolescence (TCS-A). The results also appear relevant from a clinical and application point of view and fit fully into the trend of cyberpsychology which recognizes the Internet as fertile ground for carrying out developmental tasks in adolescence.
