Noise exposure in schools can affect students' learning, listening and concentration abilities. These extra-auditory effects from noise exposure have been confirmed by numerous studies and analysed within the framework of the INAIL 2019 BRIC project ID14. This paper reports the results of the acoustic analysis conducted in a classroom before and after acoustic refurbishment. The intervention consisted of the installation of a false ceiling and wall panels made of sound-absorbing material. The acoustic parameters analysed were reverberation time and clarity C50. Comparing the results of the measurements taken in the ante-operam and post-operam configuration, it can be seen that the acoustic correction led to a reduction of reverberation time values at all frequencies, in compliance with the range required by UNI 11532-2 for category A.2 rooms, and the clarity values, in the frequency range between 500 and 2000 Hz, are in full compliance with the reference value.
