Moving from the part-session of collective contractual renewals following the Jobs Act and the T.U. (Consolidated Act) 10 January 2014 on trade union representation, and after evaluating the contents of these renewals by pointing out the scarcity of innovations, the article considers the renewing agreement of metalworkers highlighting the strong and firm commitment of the parties to pursue a deep transformation of the pre-existing rules, drawing on recent legislative actions on welfare and the relative tax and contribution benefits. In this perspective, the most interesting change is identified in the articulation of the employees’ remuneration on two levels: the monetary level and the level reserved for welfare plans.
