This paper analyses the multidimensional impact of the pandemic on the City of Rome, focusing in particular on those “new poors” rep-resented by families with minors. The results confirm the increased exposure to poverty for these households, identifying the minors as “poors among the poors”, since their pre-existing fragility is further compromised by both economic and immaterial deprivation, which af-fects at once the educational, cultural and relational spheres.
