This data are consistent with Johnson’s neuropsychoanalytic hypothesis about drug dreams and with current neuropsychological approach to dreaming that ascribes to a mesolimbic- mesocortical dopaminergic system a crucial role in the instigation of dream. The data observed also confirm the clinical utility of drugs dreams in to signal an increase of drug craving with the possibility for therapist to anticipate actions of containment of this.
