The author, with reference to a clinical case, reflects on the "ending" of a therapeutic work and the possible meanings that this can take within the wider process. In a perspective of complexity, the conclusion of a therapy not always may fall into the categorie of "interruption" or "ending" but it would be a border area with its specific clinical feateres and distintive aspects.

Keywords: Beginning of therapy, ending, interruption, therapeutic process, complexity, resistance.
