La forma infinita / The Infinite Form

Questo libro offre una riflessione filosofica sulla pittura di Andrea Gotti, interpretandola come pratica di pensiero e come gesto generativo del visibile. Attraverso un itinerario che si dipana tra filosofia dell’arte, fenomenologia ed estetica, gli autori mostrano come il segno pittorico, tra abitudine e improvvisazione, dia forma a un’esperienza in cui si intrecciano visibile e invisibile, forma e processo, espressione e verità. La pittura emerge così come evento di senso e di apertura del mondo.
This book offers a philosophical reflection on Andrea Gotti’s painting, interpreting it as a practice of thought and as a gesture that generates the visible.
Through a path unfolding between philosophy of art, phenomenology, and aesthetics, the authors show how the pictorial sign – between habit and improvisation – shapes an experience in which visibility and invisibility, form and process, expression and truth are intertwined. Painting thus emerges as an event of meaning and an opening of a world.

Alessandro Bertinetto è Professore Ordinario di Estetica presso l’Università di Torino dove presiede il Corso di Laurea in Filosofia e dirige il Centro Studi ART (www.art.unito.it). È PI del progetto FIS Habitus.

Alessandro Bertinetto is Full Professor of Aesthetics at the University of Turin, where he serves as Chair of the Degree Program in Philosophy and Director of the ART Research Centre (www.art.unito.it). He is the Principal Investigator of the FIS Habitus project.

Simone Furlani è Professore Ordinario di Filosofia teoretica presso il Dipartimento di Studi umanistici e del Patrimonio culturale dell’Università degli studi di Udine, dove insegna anche Filosofia dell’arte e Teorie dell’immagine.

Simone Furlani is Full Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the Department of Humanities and Cultural Heritage of the University of Udine, where he also teaches Philosophy of Art and Image Theories.
